Mark and Ella enjoy sleeping close to each other (sometimes), so we snapped a pick of this one. They pretty much sleep most of the time and its a struggle to keep them awake to get a full feeding, but they are definitely getting better at it. Mark is slowing figuring out that night time is for sleeping, but Ella seems to have that down a little better. Hopefully she won't prove me wrong anytime soon.

2nd Week Home
The twins have been home for 2 weeks now. Here's a pic of Ella with her Aunt Angela, who also just had her baby Joseph on Friday. We can't wait to meet their newest cousin! Mark and Ella also had their first Dr appointment last week. Everything was right on target. Mark has gained 5 oz since birth and Ella has gained 1 oz. They are both growing and are 18 3/4 inches long.

At home
Here are some pictures of us at home. We actually got some sleep the first night, so I'd call that a success. Though I don't know what I'm going to do when Matt goes back to work since he does SO much. What a great daddy! :) Nana (my mom) is here this week to help out and its been priceless and its only been 1 day!
They're Here!!!
Mark James Meloy and Ella Grace Meloy were born Thursday August 9th at 6:28 am and 6:29 am. Mark was 5lb 0oz 18 inches and Ella was 5lb 8 oz 18.25 inches. Everything went smoothly and we were all able to come home Sunday afternoon. Mark had a bit of trouble (as with most preterm boys) and was in the NICU for our entire stay, but he's doing great at home. I'm not surprised that Ella flipped several times in the womb now that I see how she is on the outside. Such a wiggle worm. And Mark is perfectly content all bundled up.
Last Belly Pic
Here it is...the last picture of my giant belly. I had a dr appointment Wednesay 8/8 and I got looks and comments from everyone I came in contact with. Its pretty bad when you are at the OB office and get stares from the receptionist, random nurses in the hall, dr's on the elevator, other pregnant women! :)
