Lopez

Last week I met Judy, Jan, and Peyton for lunch at Lopez and then we went shopping for a little bit. The babies couldn't have behaved better for us at the restaurant and while we were out shopping. You can also see our school bus of a stroller.

We finally got our new camera this past week, too. So no more excuses from me about not posting more pictures. :) We caught a good pic of Ella getting some tummy time and Mark resting on Dad.

Aunt Jan and Cousin Peyton

I travelled to Austin for a baby shower for my friend Michelle last Sunday so Mimi, Aunt Jan, and cousin Peyton (he's the BIG baby in the pictures) came over to keep Matt company and to help out with the kids. Jan was nice enough to take some pics for us since our camera is still being shipped.

The kids also had their 2 month Dr visit and everything is right on track. Ella is 25% on all fronts and Mark is 25% for head size and height and 10% on weight. They are both growing fast and Mark has passed Ella by almost 1/2 a pound. We had a bit of a rough afternoon yesterday from the shots, but they seem to be much happier today.

Bad Camera

I know its been a while since I posted any pics, but our camera has decided to die. So until I get a new one (hopefully very soon) I have no new pictures. But I did take the babies to a store today that had a baby scale and found out that Mark has surpassed Ella in weight by 0.8 ounces! If you round it though, they are the same. 9 lbs 2 oz. Its hard to imagine that they are almost twice as big as they were when they were born!

Don't forget about Oatmeal!

I had to add some pictures of Oatmeal since he is being so good lately. He's been great with the twins so far and only ruined 1 burp cloth and 1 bib. He gets rather excited sometimes (which is nothing new) but he pretty much leaves Mark and Ella alone. And he has learned to tune out their cries, too. I've been impressed with how well he is handling everything.

I took Oatmeal to the vet yesterday to check on a limp that he has been having and we were given orders to not exercise for 10 days. Yikes! I don't know who has it worse, us or him. Its going to be a very long 10 days.

Too Funny

I had to post this picture b/c it was just too funny. Ella is screaming and Mark is looking at us for help! Good thing it didn't last too long and they fell asleep.
Bobby and Julia came over last Friday for a visit. Julia was in from out of town, so we were very happy that she could come over, say hello, and snuggle some babies. Bobby got in on the snuggles too!

I found my thumb!

Mark reached an important milestone the other day.....he found his thumb! He hasn't quite found it again since then, but I'm sure he will. Ella has proven to be quite the escape artist. I had to snap a pic of her in the middle of a nap with arms and legs sticking out all over the place. Both love to be swaddled, but unless its super tight, she'll get out of it.

Hook 'em!

Matt and Mark watched their first of many UT games this weekend. Maybe next year they will get to watch the game in Austin instead of on tv. :) Aunt Valerie stayed with us last week and helped out. Mark and Ella are definitely going to miss their long talks with their Aunt. And Matt and I are going to miss her cooking and diaper changes!
